About Jigsaw

Our Mission

At Jigsaw, we believe every small and medium-sized business deserves to feel in control, not overwhelmed.

Our mission is to bring all the pieces of your business together. We take the stress out of the day-to-day by handling your bookkeeping and back-office work, setting up simple systems that save you time, and giving you honest, practical advice. That frees you to focus on what you love and what makes your business grow.

We work with business owners across the UK and the Isle of Man, and we're with you at every stage, from your first steps as a start-up to running an established, thriving company. We don't just look after your numbers. We take the time to understand your business and walk the journey alongside you.

We're also building something bigger than a client list: a community of business owners who share what they know, support one another and grow together. When one of us succeeds, we all do.

Jigsaw: bringing all the pieces of your business together, so you can grow with confidence.

Our Five Core Values

Jigsaw's five core values: People First, Be Resourceful, Keep It Simple, Solutions Focused, Grow Together

People First

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We genuinely care about our clients, our team and our community, building trust that lasts far beyond the numbers.

Be Resourceful

There's almost always a solution, we'll help you find it. We think creatively, draw on our experience and network, and go the extra mile to connect clients with the right people and opportunities.

Keep It Simple

Business is complicated enough without unnecessary jargon. We make finance clear, practical and easy to understand, giving our clients confidence to make great decisions.

Solutions Focused

We do what we say we'll do. We take responsibility, communicate honestly, solve problems proactively and treat every client's business as if it were our own.

Grow Together

Success is better when it's shared. We embrace learning, celebrate achievements, support one another and create opportunities for our clients, team and wider community to grow together.

About Emma

Emma Kneale, founder of Jigsaw Consulting, in a white blazer with arms folded

Emma has been in the world of finance since she was 18, when she started out as the office junior. She worked her way up to Operations Manager, running businesses on behalf of others, leading teams and making the big decisions that kept everything running smoothly. Along the way she studied CAT and Prince2, and even started a Master's degree, before deciding that writing at that level was a puzzle she was happy to leave unsolved!

Emma owes her work ethic to her parents, who both run their own businesses, and much of her business know-how to a couple of brilliant bosses she was lucky enough to learn from. Those experiences led her to set up Jigsaw.

As a business owner herself, Emma knows first-hand the worries, late nights and pitfalls that come with running your own business. That's exactly why she's so passionate about helping small and medium-sized businesses across the UK and the Isle of Man. Her aim is simple: she wants every client to feel like Jigsaw is their very own accounts department, just down the hall, always there when they need a hand.

Emma doesn't take herself too seriously, but she does take her clients' success very seriously. She genuinely loves what she does, and you'll rarely find her far from a notebook or a business book. She's recently discovered business podcasts and audiobooks too, a habit she's now (slightly) trying to rein in for the sake of a proper break!

Home is Douglas, where Emma lives with her partner Ed, their son Xavi and their dog Bentley. She's previously lived in Leeds & London and travelled around Australia and the US, basing herself in Texas for 6 months, and her big dream is to spend a whole summer touring in an RV with the family, even Bentley if he's lucky! When she's not working, you'll find her catching up with friends, hanging out with family, pretending not to be working or planning the next holiday.
